Shantaigh (pronounced "shantee" ) is an Irish form of John which means "God's gracious gift," . . . and that he is.
His photo gallery may be viewed here.

How honored we are to be the home of Shantaigh.  His Golden presence is still something that stops us in awe and amazement.  The snow white mane and tail frames the precious metal of his body, while the fully feathered  legs seem to take wings as this mythical creature appears to fly through the fields.

Shantaigh was purchased for his beauty and temperament.  Our original intention was to geld him for use in driving.  To our complete joy, we discovered that gelding was not necessary to achieve our personal goals.  Always a perfect gentleman, we are thrilled to be able to pass his wonderful qualities to his foals.

In 2004 Shantaigh began standing to outside mares.  Shipped semen is collected by Cross Border Performance Horses and Stallion Station, proudly owned and operated by Dr. Roger Osinchuk, DVM licensed veterinarian and equine breeding specialist.

A copy of Shantaigh's breeding contract is available HERE
